School, Market, and Community Health Center Project in IKN Residential Area Valued at Rp 414 Billion Auctioned
The Ministry of Public Works and Housing (PUPR) has auctioned off a project for the construction of schools, a market, and a community health center in the residential area for Civil Servants (ASN) in the new capital, Ibu Kota Nusantara (IKN).
According to the official website of the Electronic Procurement Service (LPSE) of the Ministry of PUPR, the estimated price (HPS) for this project is Rp 414.93 billion.
"The purpose of procuring this construction work is to find service providers who will carry out the construction activities for schools, a market, and a community health center in the ASN Residential Area in IKN, East Kalimantan Province," stated the Ministry of PUPR in the auction document, quoted on Tuesday (18/6/2024).
The scope of work will include five main projects: the construction of elementary school buildings, junior high and high school buildings, a market building, a mosque building, and a community health center building.
In line with this implementation, the Ministry of PUPR has scheduled the announcement of the winner to be made on July 4, 2024. Meanwhile, the contract signing process will take place on July 12, 2024.
Based on this schedule, the construction of the schools, market, and community health center in IKN, specifically in the ASN residential area, is expected to begin this year.
The Ministry of PUPR is committed to completing the construction of apartment complexes (rusun) for ASNs in IKN. A total of 12 apartment complexes for ASNs are targeted to be completed by July 2024.
"I remain consistent that 12 apartment complexes will be completed in July, God willing," said the Head of the IKN Construction Task Force of the Ministry of PUPR, Danis H. Sumadilaga, at the Ministry of PUPR, South Jakarta, on Friday (17/5/2024).
The plan to relocate ASNs will be carried out after the 79th Indonesian Independence Day ceremony is held. The ASN apartments will first be used as housing for the ceremony participants in IKN.
Currently, the Ministry of PUPR is working on 47 apartment complexes for ASNs and the police in IKN. As of early June 2024, 14 of these apartment constructions have reportedly reached the topping-off stage.
